Back to School - II

Well, this one was clicked when we were in the 9th grade or 9th standard at Canara High School, Main in front of our library.

Back to School!

Was browsing my HDD yesterday, and came across a set of snaps that i had scanned a couple of years back! This particular short was taken when we were in 2nd Standard. I guess, in 1986. Canara English Higher Primary School, ‘B’ Section! (2B)

Let me try to identify people here ! Let me begin with the “ladies” :)

Row 1 (lower most row, Left to Right) :
Nandita, Vidhya, Radhika, Deepa, Chaitra Upadhyaya, Shabari Alva, {teacher}, Ashwini, RoopaRashmi, {dont remember}, Veena???, {dont remember}, Gayathri.

Row 2:
Mallika(i guess), Sunayna, Deepthi, Sandhya Murthy, Ashwini (???)

Row 3 (the ‘boys’):
Sandeep Baliga, Vijaykrishna, Naveen, Prashanth, Anil Kamath, Nishanth B S, Manoj (a guess), Rakshan (jimmy! :) ), Chethan Natraj, Arun Babu, Raghavendra, Ashik, {its ME :D}

Wow. I never thought I could identify soo many! Its hard to forget childhood friends!:)

Kite Festival @ Mangalore

Had been to the kite festival @ Mangalore - Beach side. ………. Wow ! what a crowd. Never thought soo many people would turn up. We hit the beach a bit late, and the first indication of the crowd came, when we could not find space to park our cars!. Then we had to park our cars around 1.5 kms away from the beach. then started our long march, as if, it were the great migration of African jungle… We finally reached the beach at around 5.30 PM, which was crowded to the max wit lots of kites flying around !.

Managed to click some snaps…..with my rebel. Many of the shots that i took were shaky, bcoz at full zoom on 75/300 mm lens, its very difficult to be stable !!.. Next. … i have to save money for IS (image stabilizer)lens :)
