October 30th, 2006 at 08:44pm

Its time for me to upgrade to a better lens! So I am selling my Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens Telephoto on eBay. Check out the auction if you are interested!
Here are some more pics of the lens itself :
I am currently looking at this lens as an upgrade : EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom. Do let me know your comments on this lens!
Update (08-Nov-06): The lens was sold on eBay. Got a pretty good deal. The entire transaction went on smoothly. Also got the new lens from B&H, .. and it rocks!

i am trying to decide between the IS and nonIS USM myself. just the huge price diff is making me think so much. how much of a difference does the IS make?

@Kavita: Well…I would suggest you go for a IS version if money is not a problem … and if you plan to take more shots in the 300mm range.
The thing with zoom lenses without IS is .. you need to have a very stable hands!
I have had many instances where I lost many wonderful pics just because of camera shakes. Even a very minute shake will result in a blur picture at full zoom.

Thanks for your response… I think I will get the 70-300 IS.
