Sad day…

Mumbai serial train blasts. Sick. When will this dirty vote bank politics end?

I feel that democracy is one of the worst things that has happened to India.

Why have you made the implicit assumptions that islamic militants are behind this?

  • 4. Arjun  |  July 12th, 2006 at 1:22 pm

@AJ : … any sensible human on this planet would say the same.

These people are “The” problem for our country. Nuke then off, and we would be much better - Infact the entire planet would be a better place to live.

Arjun, Sorry to disagree with you there. You almost implied that all muslims are terrorists there. To think like that would be short-sightedness. When the bombs exploded there in the trains, it did not pick only hindus there and kill them. There are extemist factions in any religion. Maybe a little more in Islam.I expect an educated guy like you to be more rational before you put up such a comment. Terrorism is an universal problem . Hate breeds more hatred and drives people to a level of frustration to do regrettable acts like this.

    -Peace.

Check this article on the Time magazine :

Yes, not all Muslims are terrorists. Agreed. Fully. But the converse is VERY true. I am sure you too would agree on that. Dont miss the above article. Specially the comment made by the SIMI activist.

Democracy is the worst thing that happened to India? No
sir, you have forgotten the Emergency of Indra Gandhi, or may
be you were too young then.

  • 8. Arjun  |  July 13th, 2006 at 7:30 pm

Why do you think of Indra Gandhi?….. Isn’t there anyone else in this country who can lead? …. I would love to see a person like Abdul Kalam (even though he is a muslim) or some person like Mr. Narayana Murthy running this country for say 10 yrs. Not more. We need some person with a Vision to develop India keeping all these cast/vote bank aside.

China is doing exactly the same. The way in which the Chinese infrastructure is being built is jaw-dropping. Where as in India, … development happens only on papers. Building simple flyovers can take decades.

Yes. The only catch is.. we need a able strong leader to lead. A person with a vision.

Abdul Kalam is a practicing atheist.

I Strongly agree with Arjun……..We can only pray to God to save Our India……..Still do not know when would we wakeup from the Deep slumber……..Terrorists wud be arrested….then released after an airliner hijack……….And the Government would continue to sleep……..Its a Shame.

Look at the tiny Islands and the way they are progressing……Thats because the Higher Level Popole in Govt are completely committed to their job………..Unlike in India…..Iam Sick of it………

Strongly disagree, you want to be ruled by a foreign country? or a ruler? or Communism ?

Democracy is a wonderful thing, but it needs a strong Judiciary
