    A lot of nostalgic comments here, but nobody seems to remember ‘Satyajit Ray Presents’, the 13 episode serial on doordarshan based on his own short stories. (Though I have them in book form, it is a different experience altogether to see actors like Utpal Dutt and Smita Patil enacting them)
    I would be glad to have any info on that one. Anybody from Kolkata who is aware of this one?
    As for the songs listed here, they are all easily available on the internet. Just google them.

    Hi all,
    Malgudi Days DVD set has only 13 episodes….Swamy and Vendor of Sweets had 8 episodes each (total 16) and they are NOT available on DVD…I am hoping that producers will consider putting them on DVD as well…..mean while, if you find them, please let me know….rikinthakker@yahoo.com
