Incidentally, my sister & I were also both put in school a year earlier & both of us have friends through school & college who are a year older than us!

Yup. MIT was under Mangalore university when we studied. Our was the last batch under mangalore university. After that one batch was under VTU, and then MAHE.

The batch next to us joined MIT under mangalore university. Then, they were under VTU., and when in final year, they were under MAHE!
