It very very unfortunate that funds allocated to developments in infrastructre are not being used effectively. I think the younger generation atleast should wake up and create an awareness amongst general public. The whole process of development should be transparent. Periodically officials of Mangalore Municipality should update the public about the progress, difficulties faced by them and future plan on major local newpapers. There may be genuine problems like adverse weather. But public has to be kept informed.
There are so many educational institutions in Mangalore. Why don't student leaders as a combined force act so that Mangaloreans get what they desearve?

Agree to whatever is said but blame ultimately has to be on us. How many of us in Mangalore actually protest against muncipality or city buses or violation of any public spaces ? Sometimes I get the feeling that Mangalore people are too selfish caring just for themselves. !

The condition of roads not only in Mangalore but all over India is bad. And to imagine Bombay has to deal with the problem during heavy rains when the trains also stop completely.
